Picking up heavy things

My upper body was pretty sore today, so decided to work dead lift.
135x8, 225x5, 255x3, 275x3, 295x1, 305x1, and 225x5x2 snatch grip
Finished up w/ 4 sets of calf raises on Smith machine trying to rehab my foot, 3 sets of wrist rollers, 3 sets of Russian twists w/ 20 lb. medicine ball, and some ab wheel work.

Will someone please tell me what a Russian twist is? Again?

They're the ones where you stand the bar up in a corner, twist your body to the side and lower the bar towards your hip, and then lift it back up.

Here's more detail, with pictures.

Ah,thanks. Maybe we can do this at one of the WODs so I can see it in person.

Re: Russian twists. I've always done them on a glute/ham contraption or a bench. Feet are anchored and your upper body is unsupported, turn to the side with or w/o weight. Plenty of demos on YouTube. I don't recommend the stability ball version, cause it just doesn't work you that hard. Have not seen the standing barbell version, but it looks like fun(?).
