Fran as Rx'd:
Three rounds, 21-15- and 9 reps, for time of:
95 pound Thruster
Pull-ups
Time = just under 11:30
First time doing Fran as Rx'd. Lots of stops within sets. Thought about quitting after the first round (too tired, too sore, wah, wah), but I realized that would be letting my teamies from the Hard Corps Tribe down. I don't think I will ever actually enjoy high rep thrusters, but I already respect them.

Way to go Chris!!!
I'm going on the record as voting against the "Hard Corps" name- soon we will be at public fitness functions and as the overwhelming majority of us were not in the military I feel that it's too Marine corps for us to use. Plus I'd have to explain to people that I didn't serve and they'd think we were posers biting on the military style, especially if we use a derivation of the marine symbol.
That would make our 1st place achievements weird.
That said I can't believe you finished as prescribed and in that short of a time.
Sam, your vote is important to me, so OK on nixing Corps, even tho your wife REALLY likes it. I will spend the weekend working on a new name that incorporates "Tribe" yet does not sound like a night club or satanic cult.
soon we'll be at public fitness functions??
Melanie,
You don't think so?
If not competitions, maybe workshops and the like.
I may collapse in the road after Sam's planned workout tomorrow morning, causing terrible traffic jams. Does that count as a public fitness function?
