Pushups/Situps #2

After a busy day yesterday, I decided to let myself sleep in, so I got a bit of a late start on the day. Going to do some more squash or lifting this afternoon, but I figured I'd start the day off with another go at the pushups/situps drill. This time I managed 3 extra pushups in the 2 minutes, but held steady on the situps for 48/59.

Cool. It will be interesting to see how you progress in this measure over time. Some people are naturally inclined to do push ups. The rest of us have to work at it. I have a vivid memory from basic training where one of the guys in our company had messed up and was order to "drop and give me 100." Usually is was 20, and 100 might have been a sort of joke, as it was near the end of the training cycle. Anyway, this trainee, who was a big Samoan guy, dropped and promptly cranked out 100 perfect push ups without resting or even slowing down.
