I started with 20 push-ups, and then did 3 sets of 10 with a 1 minute rest in between sets. For those that are interested, I am on a 50-ab a day/6 day a week plan, mixing leg raises, full sit-ups, crunches and push-ups into the rotation. All to improve core strength (and to rock up the abs that lay beneath their protective fat layer)
