Squat day
sets of 3 at 225, 245, 265, 265, 265

Short metcon - 3 rounds of:
10 55lb DB swings
5 handstands
10 sit ups

Finished w/ GTG pull ups - 5, 5, 10 reps

Why 55lb DB swings when you have a 53lb KB at home?

How are the handstands coming along?

Sam - 'cause the KB is, as you pointed out, at home. The DB was sittin' right there at the Y where we did the rest of the WO...

Mellie - soon I will be knocking on the Crishes' back door with my feet, like in up-side-down zombie!
Actually, I think the key to learning to handstand is to do them often. I'm going to try getting up into the handstand at least 3x/week. Multiple repeats of this movement seems to help more than holding the HS for time.

I cannot wait until the day when the entire Moran family walks into that carport on our hands and knock on the door with our feet with the mindless look of zombies upon our faces!
