Because you guys are looking to the wrong outcome. I've found that vigorous exercise, combined with the proper application of gin martinis can do wonders for Melanie's charm and you never want her to stop talking. Merely "Shutting her up" is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Christine and I have similar issues - but it goes both ways. We don;t have a laconic member like the Moran's.
I'm speechless. Get me the gin and a barbell, stat!
Clearly Mel just needed to do more push-ups then.
Problem was, I was doing them in the kitchen and it gave me a better view than I would have like of how filthy the floor is.
