Chris Wednesday

Hang power snatch + 3 OH squat. Loads = 65, 75, 85, 95, 105 (baled out on 3rd rep of OH squat), 115 (just did a partial squat - too unsteady).
Power snatch singles - 3 @ 125

Clean & jerk singles - 135, 145, 155, 165

90 burpees

Yes, I think they helped me keep my weight back, and kept my knees from going too far out over my toes during the OHS.

Also I find that for the heavier OHS I still have problems just snatching the weight up and cropping into a full squat - try doing a couple partials until you are all the way down and then do your set.

Yeah, doing a power snatch first and then OH squat seems steadier than jumping right into a full squat snatch.

No, I mean that I bet if you took two or three partials to get down to depth that the 115 attempt would go fine.
